Welcome • GMHS Football Program Mission Statement • GMHS Football is a comprehensive program reaching from Youth Football (GMJFA) to post-secondary placement. Our primary objective is to develop the potential of young student-athletes into the reality of a thriving adulthood. In doing so, we will promote the welfare of the entire Green Mountain community.
Welcome The three pillars of development are: • Academics – Our program exists to support the academic and cultural Mission of Green Mountain High School • Citizenship – Our program exists to support the character development, leadership, and service of each participant • Competitiveness – Our program exists to represent the Green Mountain community as well as possible through competitive excellence
Welcome • Trust – We (players, coaches, boosters, parents, administration, faculty), must develop a trust in the competency, integrity, and motivation of each other. • Team – We must value the glorification of the program above ourselves. • Commitment – We must be consistent and accountable for our responsibilities.
Team Goals Academics • We will compete in the classroom to best of our ability • Everyone is academically eligible for every game • Attainment of individual semester G.P.A goals Citizenship • We will have a selfless commitment to each other, our school, and our community • Community Service Projects • Weekly acts of selflessness run through the leadership program Competitiveness • We will represent our community well in competition • Win the Homecoming Game • Beat Wheat Ridge • Have a winning season • Win the 4A Plains League • These goals were created by the Leadership Team on May 12th, 2014
