  4. Original Synopsis Karen gets a pair of red shoes by tricking the old lady. An angel appears to her, and condemns that she will dance even after dying, as a warning to vain children everywhere.. Karen has learned her lesson ,and get peace and welfare. A pretty but poor girl who has to run with bare feet named Karen, she is adopted by a rich old lady after her mother's funeral. Karen attends to a party with her red shoes. Unfortunately, after beginning to dance, the shoes are out of control and she can't stop dancing. Karen is dancing from dawn until dark, until begging an executioner to chop off her feet. He does and Karen loses her feet.

  5. Reinterpretation Karen decided to go to the ball instead of taking care of sick mom. She couldn’t stop dancing because of the red shoes and get punished. Addicted to drugs (Red shoes) Good Nature and Kind Hearted Doubled-face She was a good nature girl but she got along with a bad friend and addicted into drugs (red shoes). There are two different Karen inside herself, one positive and the negative.

  12. Impressions Abandoning sick mom alone and choose to go to the ball. Connection: Red Shoes (Bad Influence) Abandoning study and hang out with the bad friend and partying.

  13. Impressions Couldn’t stop dancing nor to take off the shoes because of the curse. Red Shoes Curse Divided into two personalities and the negative herself keep abusing the positive one
