  1. Student Member Of the Board of Education SMOB Candidates 2012 Every student has a voice and a need. It’’s the SMOB’s duty to make sure your voices are heard and your needs are met. Choose the champion most committed to fighting for your cause, one who’se main goal is to allow you to influence the very policies that affect you. As an All-State athlete, musician, dancer, and artist, I can relate to nearly every student. Having moved 8 times, I bring fresh perspective, and diverse world experience. Most importantly, I have a sincere desire to help you to be as successful as possible. Every Student. One Goal. Vote for Cole. Cole Rosenberg Hammond High School • Howard County doesn’t need dreamers, we need doers. We need a candidate for SMOB who is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and face the issues. I am that candidate. Hello, I’m Jake Kotler. This upcoming year is paramount for the student body of Howard County. With the Board of Education's continuing involvement in student affairs, every decision being made is one that counts. My passion for representing the student voice and making sure it is always heard will make this year one where Howard County student activism can truly begin. With your vote of Jake for SMOB, collaboration between the student body and the Board of Education will take a definite step forward.
