I. Jehovah-Sabaoth speaks of God’s leadership over all creation.
A. God is the head of all the hosts of Heaven because He created them Isaiah 45:11,12
B. God is Lord of Hosts because He has the power to be the head.Ps. 89:6-8 / Col 1:16-17
II. Jehovah-Sabaoth speaks of God’s leadership over the armies of God!
A. The Lord of Hosts was the leader of Israel’s armies and the mightiest of all warriors.
C. The Lord of Hosts will bring low all who are proud.Isaiah 2:10-12 / Isaiah 14:12-14
III. Jehovah-Sabaoth speaks of His willingness to intervene to assist believers.
B. The Lord of Hosts hears the cries of His people and is ready to help – James 5:4 / Rom. 9:29
C. He is ever willing to help the hosts praise Him. Ps. 103:21; 148:2
