UNAIDS Progress Report May 2018 The launch of the Global HIV Prevention Coalition has stimulated commitment for re-invigorating primary prevention . All coalition founding member countries developed 100-day prevention action plans. Many countries have established national prevention coalitions and are in the process of developing new national HIV strategies, with stronger primary prevention focus. Progress with setting prevention programme targets – not yet complete Some countries have defined combination prevention packages for adolescent girls and young women and key populations Policy change to address barriers to effective prevention quite slow
