Organize Your Project • Organize groups • Brainstorm for a story concept • Create a storyboard • Assign roles to team members  i.e.: • Illustrators - • set design, • creating characters • creating props • Writers - create script, title cards • Technicians - oversee file formatting and sequencing

  13. Stop Motion Camera Shoot • Position background set (shoebox) • Put clay figures into first position • Set up tripod/camera • Focus on shot • Animator moves figure • Photographer takes the shot • Repeat last two steps until desired number of shots is taken

  21. Creating Original Graphics Using "Twist" In the Computer Lab • Create background and export as a .gif file. • Create characters and props individually and export each as a .gif file with a transparent background.

  22. Open background and drag and drop characters to "act" in your story, exporting your images with each change or movement. • Create a library of  static images (.gif files) to bring into Frames for animation.

  25. Working with Images Adding a series of photographs or images to Frames: • Upload photos from camera to computer • Keep images in a separate folder • Import folder to Frames • Do a quick “test”  run through to delete or duplicate frames, and rearrange the frame sequence as necessary

  27. Finishing Up • Add title cards and narrative cards • Add transitions • Add voiceovers, syncing to images • Add music from Frames library • Preview movie • Save file • Make movie (you can choose from a variety of formats) • Celebrate!
