Pathway to Careers Program of Study Collaboration
A general fund match is required to remain eligible for Perkins federal funds. State funds include funds earmarked for the student leadership center and in 2011-13 includes Science and Technology FIRST and Accelerated College Credit grants.
CTE Revitalization Grant HB 3362
Grant Purpose Enhance collaboration between education providers and employers. Develop or enhance career and technical education programs of study. Expand professional growth of and career opportunities for students through career and technical education programs.
Grant Purpose Assess the ability of career and technical education programs to meet workforce needs and give students the skills required for jobs in Oregon that provide high wages and are in high demand. Support achievement of the high school diploma requirements.

Crook County School District Due to economic challenges, Crook County High School’s Manufacturing Engineering was cut. Four years later, the program has been resurrected through the CTE Revitalization Grant—and even better, it has been expanded to include Crook County and Paulina Middle School students. Eugene School District Utilizing the CTE Revitalization Grant, Churchill has increased rigor in the foundational math and science curriculum, developed a new “Engineering & Design” CTE program of study and enhanced two existing CTE programs – all to ensure two- and four-year college readiness. Pine Eagle School District Pine Eagle Charter School and Eagle Cap Innovative High School have implemented a program to graduate students who are highly qualified for employment in the growing career fields of industrial automation and control systems. Lebanon School District This project includes South Albany, West Albany and Lebanon High Schools. Students are benefiting from a forward-thinking curriculum that maximizes faculty resources; a classroom environment that stimulates and engages; and an introduction to technical career fields. Mt Angel School District Mt. Angel and Silver Falls School Districts are working together to expand CTE program offerings for students at both the middle and high school levels. The project provides project based experiences for students in the field of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics. Building the Pipeline Through Project-Based Learning
Wallowa Education Service District This program involves Arlington, Joseph, Grant Union, and Treasure Valley Community College instructors to provide college-level IT courses.
