Step 3 • Email: email • Server: m.google.com • Domain: leave blank • Username: email • Password: password
Step 4 • Change Mail Days to Sync to No Limit • This way you won’t have emails disappear from your inbox.
Signature Rules • Settings • Mail, Contact Calendars • Signature • YOUR FULL NAME • UP TO 2 EMOJI • Nothing else!!
Email Etiquette • Keep it professional. • Explain yourself clearly. Why are you sending the email. • Be polite. • Subject line should give a clear understanding of what the email is about. • End the email with your name.
Practice • Send an email to your advisor explaining what you learned today. • Make sure you have an appropriate subject. • Check that your signature is correct. • Use complete sentences and proper grammar.
Create the event • Click the plus button on the lower right hand corner. • Name your event. • Add a location if necessary.
Date and Time • Use the scroll bars at the bottom of the screen to change the date and time.
Reoccurring Events • Do you want your event to repeat? • Choose how often.
Alerts • This will make a popup appear on your iPad before the event. • Use caution with this so you don’t get in trouble in class.
