SPICE: Web Site: http://spice.ees.ufl.eduSPICE (Science Partners in Inquiry-based Collaborative Education) is a three-year project funded by the National Science Foundation to foster inquiry-based learning of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in Gainesville's under-resourced middle schools. SEEK: Web site: http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/seekSEEK (Science and Engineering Experiences for Knowledge) is an after-school program funded by the National Science Foundation to enhance middle school students' interested in science and engineering. GatorTRAX - A Math Excellence program designed to keep students involved in mathematics by giving them a chance to explore engineering applications of math concepts. Includes Saturday Engineering programs, field trips, and a week-long summer camp. Gator Outreach - brings middle & high school students to campus to get a feel for campus life and engineering programs. Project Athena - a one week hands on engineering camp for middle school girls Peek - one week hands on engineering camp for all middle school students Eye on Engineering - one week hands on engineering camp for high school students Gator Shadow Day for prospective high school students. Spend a day on campus with an engineering student. High School Guidance Counselor Workshop - to provide up to date information on what high school students need to become engineers
