Jason Hussey Help me make my dream come true!
Personal Data • AMA #516535 • DOB 3/9/90 • 4110 Highway C, Moscow Mills, MO 63362 • jmxr677@aol.com • 636-356-4694 (home) 314-581-9537(cell)
Personal History I sat on my first PW50 when I was 2. I started learning to ride when I was five. From that day on I fell in love with riding. I began racing when I was seven. I won my second race and have continued with top finishes ever since. I have always excelled at “supercross style” tracks. My 15 year old brother, Kyle (now an “A” rider) and I give riding lessons to local riders. We want to pass along to upcoming riders the skills and knowledge that make you fast. It’s the little things than can really help. I wasn’t in the best of shape to begin my 1st SX season in 2008 as I had ankle surgery for an old injury in November and was out until about two weeks before the season began. By the time St. Louis SX came I was in better shape and was gaining confidence; which I believe led me to qualifying for the main event direct from my heat race. I was stoked, as St. Louis is my home town. My dad has always been there for me!!!
Racing History • Qualified for 5 night shows out of 6 and 1 main event in 1st year of 2008 Supercross Lites East Coast. • Earned Pro License in 2 ProAm weekend races (minimum # of races to earn 100 points) • Qualified for 3 out of 4 main events at 2007 BooKoo Arenacross. Finishing 10th – 12th (first arenacrosses ever attended) • Qualified for Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur National 4 out of 5 attempts. 60cc - Schoolboy
Training Regement • Strength training 3 times a week at school. • Off days from strength training workout with Bowflex at home and ride stationery bike. • Ride track at home average 3 times a week (midwest weather doesn’t always cooperate for more track time, wish it did). • Racing local fair races over summer. They are tight tracks which help me stay in shape for SX.
Personal Accomplishments • Finished High School in top 10% of class and obtained my Pro SX Lites license all at the same time. Still had time to enjoy my senior prom and my rented tuxedo.
Goals • Qualify for all main events in SX or Lites class for 2009 and finishing in top 10 by end of season. • Possibly race a couple 2008 Toyota Outdoor Nationals… Red Bud and Millville
Objective • Obtain help with expenses to race either SX Lites or SX class in 2009 depending on sponsorships received and guidelines set by AMA for 2009. • It would be totally awesome to be given the opportunity to ride for a “team”. I raced a stock CRF250 during the 2008 SX Lites season, except for Yoshimura pipe and suspension revalving. I feel I would be more competitive if I was able to run a mod motor.
Education • 2008 Graduate of Troy Buchanan High School. • Ranking top 10% of graduating class.
D18 President wanted an “A” rider on 2006 Series T shirts…I was chosen
