Believing is a fundamental for having our desires met when we pray • Concept of believing for unbelievers is different from believers. James 2.19-20. • The believing that acts and takes possession. Mark 11:23-24
Principles of Faith • 1) There must be a specific desire. Mark 11.23 -Whosoever shall say to THIS mountain. -Act on God’s word in simplicity and faith and always expect results.
See the unseen - You have to visualise what you desire - it’s only when your desire is specific that you can see How do you see the unseen – through the eyes of faith. 2cor 4:18 • Is to see what God sees - To speak of non existent things as though they existed. Roman 4:17
Evidence • Use your evidence you got heb 11.1 • You should be able to recognise the evidence • You should be spiritually alert alert to recognise the evidence the holy spirit is bringing to your awareness- • you can have note of victory in your inner man thru a word of prophecy.
Utterance in your mouth • Song in your spirit that causes rejoicing. • Never let go such words or songs • Meditate on them • Talk them • Be bold to tell others you have got it and act the same way
Don’t doubt • When you prayed for something don’t doubt • Should believe that you receive when you pray • Rule - Repetitiveness is not permissible for eg farmer who plants seeds. • Dealing with doubt • doubt means • double minded james 1:6-8 • Stagger roman 4:20-21
Strengthen your faith and this happens when you put your faith to work • Acting on the word. 1 thes 5:18
