All About Me • My background • I grew up in Downers Grove. • I played volleyball, badminton, and sang in choir. • My education and experience • Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Illinois State University • Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction from Illinois State University • 7th year in 2rd grade • Personal • Married • Daughter that just turned 1 in September • Love watching sports and reading

Tests • Before most tests, there will be a study guide sent home with the answers • Study guides are also available on the classroom website • We go over and complete study guides together • Look for the study guides to come home approximately one or two days before a scheduled test • The best way to prepare for the test is to go over the study guide
Homework • The same every week! • Homework Policy • If students turn in all three days of homework they are then able to play homeworkopoly • Forget to turn it in one day then they are unable to play homeworkopoly for the week • Should only take around 20 minutes • Skills should be review • Checked for Completion Stamp • Absent Student? Work can be sent home with a sibling or neighbor or picked up at the office. Please request the homework before noon.
Homework • Weekly homework will consist of: • Monday: Reading • Tuesday: Writing • Thursday: Math • In addition to the above items, your child may also have the following items for homework: • Study for an upcoming test • Unfinished work from class • Uh-oh Slips • Study basic math facts • Study Spelling
