I/ITSECFuture Leaders Pavilion Orange County Convention Center Orlando, Florida November 30 to 4 December 2009
Welcome to the Future Leaders Pavilion Admiral Fred Lewis, USN (RET), the President of the National Training and Simulation Association, and the Membership of I/ITSEC take great pleasure in welcoming you to the Seventh Annual Future Leaders Pavilion (FLP) at I/ITSEC 2009. We are delighted to host students from across the United States to our conference. Each of you is a leader of your school, and during I/ITSEC week you will meet the leaders of an industry that has raised simulated training to an art form and prepared our Armed Forces to defend our freedoms with more innovative and cost-effective products and services than ever before. In addition, many other government agencies look to I/ITSEC for the latest products and services to support their missions. The conference is attended by over 18,000 professionals representing over 400 companies and government agencies from over 40 countries. I/ITSEC is host to many colleges and universities, as well. We hope you will take the time to learn all about them. Meet and talk with our Modeling and Simulation (M&S) professionals. They will be happy to talk with you about their innovative technologies. Do not forget to invite them to the FLP, so they can also see what you have brought to the conference. During I/ITSEC week, you will come to realize the strength that M&S market professionals bring to the theme for this year’s conference: Train to Fight. Fight to Win. While our current professionals are the bulwarrk of our community, we know that we are the present – you are the future. We encourage you to take advantage of all the conference has to offer.
