Journey Through “The Tabernacle” TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS “JOURNEY” “U” MUST BE SPIRITUALLY PREPARED
Tabernacle With us “LORD” Desire, it is a dainty word! It were much that He should satisfy the need, the want; but He goeth far beyond that. Pity is moved to meet our need; duty may sometimes look after our wants; but to satisfy the desire im- plies a tender watchfulness, a sweet and gracious knowledge of us, an eagerness of blessing. God is never satisfied until He has satisfied our desires.
REMEMBER THIS AND LIVE I WOULD RATHER LIVE MY LIFE AS IF THERE IS A GOD, AND DIE TO FIND OUT THERE ISN’T; THAN LIVE MY LIFE AS IF THERE ISN’T, AND DIE TO FIND OUT THERE IS………

Journey Through “The Tabernacle”The High Priest !!The Chose Is Not Yours; Rather!!!!The God That you Serve!! “Every Christian Is Called To Be The” “Priest Of His Or Her’s Household” SO ANSWER THE “CALL” When you do answer the call!! 1 Pet. 2:5 “You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priest- hood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” Expect to become a solid foundation on which God will build His “Spiritual House”!! Be ready to give of yourself when the time comes and you are to represent the God of your salvation for His glory
Journey Through “The Tabernacle”The High Priest When you do answer the call!! 1 Pet. 2:9 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priest, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light” You are special to God; so act accordingly to the sound doctrine you know to be true!! I. The Call, The Wear & The Hypocrisy A. The Appointment of the High Priest 1. Qualities of…Heb. 5:1 “…every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things per- taining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sin”
Journey Through “The Tabernacle”The High Priest I. The Call, The Wear & The Hypocrisy A. The Appointment of the High Priest 1. Qualities of… a) The requirement to be called… Heb. 5:4 “…no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron” 2. All of the good characterized in Jesus.. Heb. 8:1 “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens”
Journey Through “The Tabernacle”The High Priest I. The Call, The Wear & The Hypocrisy A. The Appointment of the High Priest 2. All of the good characterized in Jesus.. a) Earthly position already filled… Heb. 8:4-6 “If He were on earth, He would not be a priest, for there are already men who of- fer the gifts prescribed by the law…But the ministry Jesus has received is as superi- or to theirs as the covenant of which He is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises” On earth it would have been impossible for Jesus to be the High Priest because of how God, Himself, had chosen the man. He, God, chose Aaron and his sons and the tribe of Levi to hold the earthly position. By Jesus being from the tribe of Judah on earth, He could not be High Priest
Journey Through “The Tabernacle”The High Priest I. The Call, The Wear & The Hypocrisy A. The Appointment of the High Priest 2. All of the good characterized in Jesus.. b) Going in Once vs. Anytime… Heb. 9:12,24-26 “He did not enter by means of blood of goats and calves; but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, having obtain- ed eternal redemption…--He entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. Nor did He enter heaven to offer Himself again and again… But now He has appeared once for all…to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself” Aaron’s opportunity came only once a year and it was for the blood of others with animals, the “Christ” entered not of others or of animals but a one time shot took care of everything for all of us and He need not do it over and over again

There shall be a woven edge like a collar around this opening, so that it will not tear….” It was a pullover garment looking like a man’s “night shirt” a) That the scriptures might be fulfilled.. Jn. 19:23 “When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took His clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the under- garment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom”
Journey Through “The Tabernacle”The High Priest I. The Call, The Wear & The Hypocrisy B. The Apparel of the High Priest 2. Getting dressed for worship… b) Skilled labor to make it lovely.. Ex. 39:3 “They hammered out thin sheet of gold and cut strands to be worked into the blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen—the work of a skilled craftsman” Those of the artisan class such as blacksmiths would beat the gold into really thin sheets and make thin strips to be expertly threaded into the garment

Journey Through “The Tabernacle”The High Priest I. The Call, The Wear & The Hypocrisy C. The Apostasy of the High Priest 1. Why separate “Church & State”… Matt. 21:13 “It is written, He said to them, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a ‘den of robbers’” a) Corruption judging Truth… Matt. 26:67 “Then they spit in His face and struck Him with their fist. Others slapped Him”
Journey Through “The Tabernacle”The High Priest What We Did To The High Priest Heb. 7:23-28 “Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in the office; but because Jesus lives forever,…. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them….For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came from the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever” When you look at that 25th verse it says it all for His purpose. Man’s flesh is weak and will always remain as such; but Christ, being at the right hand of the Father, has the strength to handle all of our cares because He is not mere flesh, but Spirit now, and will act in accordance to the dictates of the Spirit. Thus making Him always available; NO WAITING

Journey Through “The Tabernacle”The High Priest WHAT IT SAYS This is my Bible, I am who my Bible say I am, I can do what my Bible say I can do. I have what my Bible say I have, my Bible teaches my spirit, my spirit teaches my mind, and my mind teaches my body. My Bible is full of promises and command- ments, my Bible has good and bad exam- ples. How do I know my Bible is true? By comparing scripture with scripture and spiritual things with spiritual things. I study my Bible to show myself approved, rightly dividing the Word of God.
