Progress in FTF developmentV. Uzhinsky FRITIOF model • Topics: • Separate simulation of diffractive and non-diffractive interactions; • Inversion of string fragmentation direction.
Inversion of string fragmentation direction Standard point of view It is assumed usually that Pqq > Pq, but there can be a reverse situation In 5% of cases, when a quark is flying in front of di-quark. It is needed to Assume that it can be in 30% (!!!) cases for description of exp. Data. Why!?
Resume • Probability to find slow di-quark is a strong fitting • parameter. But is is very strange that it is large! • 2) Now we have a best generator (FTF) for PP-interactions! • 3) A quality of it for pA-interaction is now under the study. • 4) The same will be done for pion interactions. • It is rather important for AA-interactions (centrality selection, ZDC operation, beam dumping and so on). Limits of the Fritiof model are reached. The next step – revision and improvement of QGS model (~ 3-5 monthes)
