  2. My Ethnicity • Caucasian – Predominantly Northern European • Peyton name is English, of Norman (Norse) origin • Both parents’ ancestries include Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and Germanic family lines The Peytons emigrated to the Virginia Colony during the 1600s and have been in America ever since.

My Musical Involvement • Church Choir (from age 12) • Middle School: Concert Band, Clarinet (2nd Chair) • Junior High: Concert Band, Clarinet, Marching Band, Bagpipes • High School: • Saxophone: Pep band, Solo & Ensemble Comp. • Honor Choir (2 years) • All State Choir (2 years) • Musicals: West Side Story, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers • Received Music Sterling Scholar Award

Guitar and Rock Music -Bought first guitar at age 15 -Received “Most Outstanding Instrumentalist” Award senior year for guitar work -Played in a garage band with my friends for 2 years (High School) -Have played in 4 rock bands to date -Recorded one CD (demo) in my most recent band -Attended master classes with classical guitarists
