They practiced there religion outside. Britons loved nature and all that it provides so they did not have closed off churches. They also believed that some locations were more sacred than others, for example mountains, rivers, lakes etc. http://mythmaiden.com/celtic.htm DC
The Romans invaded Briton in 55 bc. The Romans as a fighting force were Unmatched by any other country. They displayed battle tactics that are still Proven to be effective today. However they also had an advanced form of Government and religion. After the Romans had there successful invasion they instilled there Religion across Briton. Of course not everyone in Briton was for it. However They didn’t have much of a Choice.
