  2. Theme of The Hunger Games • The theme of The Hunger games is: The main theme in The Hunger Games is survival and never giving up, Katniss and Peeta no only have to survive in the games but they have to stay away from the capitol.

  3. Picture 1 This picture represents when Rue dies because she gets speared in the chest. This relates to the theme because in the book Katniss and Rue are trying to survive in the Hunger games, but rue unfortunately dies.

  4. Picture 2 This picture represents when Katniss was trying out to see what number she would get out of ten, but the judges were not paying attention, so she shot a apple out of a cooked pigs mouth. This relates to the theme because Katniss never gave up.

  5. Picture 3 This picture represents when Katniss was hunting for deer too feed her family and this relates to the text because if she doesn’t hunt then her family will starve.

  6. Picture 4 This is a picture of when Prim gets picked for the Hunger Games and Katniss volunteers as tribute. This relates to the theme because if Prim went into the hunger games she wouldn’t have a chance.

  7. Picture 5 This picture is when Snow is telling the games maker too kill either Peeta or Katniss. This picture relates to the text because Katniss and Peeta have to survive even though the capitol is trying to kill them.
