  2. Multiple Benefit Messages On dune swale land systems inputs are made according to soil type and growers adopt sustainable grazing management regimes

  3. Areas of Focus • Sustainable grazing management • Crop establishment on non wetting sands • Promoting Variable Rate technology • Establish a new young farmers group • Increase knowledge of soil and crop nutrition

  4. Flow on effects • Increase farmer knowledge of crop and soil nutrition • Linked with GRDC for Rob Norton to speak at Kimba GRDC update. Followed by Murlong group discussion, using 4R Nutrition books. • Linking BCG GRDC More Profit from Nutrition with UEP farmers. Andy Bates spoke on “Nutrition 101” at Charra Ag Bureau, Lock, Minnipa and Wudinna farmer groups, this including two GS32 crop nutrition walks. • A case study on Kerran Glover using VRT on dune swale soil types • Legume Nodulation, Maartyn Ryder, MAC Research, (Brian and Jess) • The 2016 EPARF Members day in July will focus on Sandy soils
