PACS PACS A&I A&I HAIMS Overview • HAIMS is a Wounded Warrior strategic project that will provide a single enterprise-wide data sharing capability for all types of artifacts and images (also known as A&I) • The objective of HAIMS is to give healthcare providers global visibility and access to essential healthcare A&I throughout the continuum of care from Theater, to sustaining base, to the Department of Veterans Affairs BHIE Continuum of Care OCONUS CONUS Sustaining Base DOD Users Theater Care Theater Hospitalization Veterans Affairs First Responder

Requirements: Site Provided MTF Relay Server Minimum Hardware • Server: CPU with 2 Cores / 4 GB RAM • Workstation: CPU with 1 Core/ 2 GB of RAM • Ensure not governed by user group policy object • 100 MBit / 1 GB Network Connection • 10 GB of free hard disk space • DVD-ROM to copy HAIMS Bulk Scan software • CAC reader for testing purposes • Access to additional workstation for testing purposes HAIMS Bulk Scan is configured by scanner make and model. 5. Requirements: Site Provided MTF Relay Server Supported Operating System • MTF Relay server can be installed on the following supported systems: • Windows 2008 R2 Server, 32 and 64-bit (Recommended) • Windows 2008 Server, 32 and 64-bit • Windows 7 Ultimate or Enterprise, 32 and 64-bit • MTF Relay Server needs capabilities to run AutoStore service without interruption. This includes: • Disabling power, sleep, and network management utilities to prevent hardware/software hibernation • Server/workstation is not governed by an end user group policy which allows unscheduled service interruption HAIMS Bulk Scan is configured by scanner make and model. Requirements: Site Provided MTF Relay Server Software • HAIMS Bulk Scan software v2.18.x.x • HAIMS Bulk Scan Licenses • .Net Framework v3.5 • .Net Framework v4.0 • Internet Information Server (IIS) for certain components • FTP and HTTP Server for certain MFD vendor components HAIMS Bulk Scan is configured by scanner make and model. 7. Requirements: Site Provided MTF Relay Server Network • Connectivity from the MTF Relay Server to the target Regional HAIMS Site and AutoStore WSS server over port 443 • MTF Relay Server must be able to resolve Regional HAIMS Site and WSS Server via hostname which may involve implementing a DNS “A” Records • No firewall restrictions or rules on the Relay Server preventing communication from/to MFD • MFD vendor specific ports/services for communication • HBSS restrictions addressed before hand • Local Administrator account on the MTF Relay server to install, configure and maintain AutoStore (account should be able to access the network) • Network service account to run AutoStore service (if required based on site policy) HAIMS Bulk Scan is configured by scanner make and model. Requirements: Site Multi Function Device (MFD) • MFD must be “AutoStore Ready” • This requires contacting MFD vendor to ensure licensing, support and features have been verified for AutoStore installation. • MFDs must have SSL enabled (if available for the device) • MFD information provided to Deployment Team • Make/Model • IP Address • CAC enabled? • MFD Web Admin Access? • Scanning capability? 10. Configuration: Bulk Scan “AutoStore” Components - MFD / Network Scanners • Configurations will vary based on the manufacturer of the MFD/scanner and it is the responsibility of the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) to work with the manufacturer to configure and make the MFD “AutoStore” ready • MFD configuration needs to be done with the consent of the manufacturer to avoid any void in warranty • Link to supported make and models • http://www.nsiautostore.com/autostore/capture/multifunction-devices/ HAIMS Bulk Scan is configured by scanner make and model. 13. Multiple MFD Configurations • A single Autostore Relay server can handle multiple MFD configurations, however the instructions are setup to single instances only. Once you have configured the first MFD type please submit a DHA Global Service Center ticket to get assistance with setting up additional MFD types. • Xerox MFDs require a separate Autostore Relay server and cannot be combined with other MFD configurations.
