What is WLMA? • Network • ProfessionalDevelopment • Social W • Connections Library Media Association is the association for school library media specialists and support staff in Washington State. WLMA membership averages 1200 people, from all areas of the state and all levels of K-20 libraries.

  4. What is the purpose of this session? • New or nearly new conference attendees are invited to conference • Informal networking session where experienced WLMA conference goers give tips and suggestions to make the most out of your conference experience.

What can I buy; what is free? • $: Pre-conferences are outside of conference registration fee • F & $: Both sale items and free items in exhibit hall • $: Book sale table – authors’ works + discount online ordering available • F: Handouts usually free + online • $: Tickets to various meal events • $: CE credits Different requirements – see conference website for specifics F = Free $ = Costs money
