  2. Step 1: With your partner, decide your top 3 humanitarians you would like to research.

  3. Step 2: Once you and your partner is drawn, you are to tell Ms. Santizo, which person you would like to research.

  4. Research Project Component….

  5. Task:To gather and present information about a famous humanitarian who fought for their rights and changed the quality of life in their society.

  6. Intent:To identify what people have done, throughout history, to proclaim their rights, and improve their quality of life. Then presenting that information to the class.

  7. Criteria:- You and your partner are to research a famous humanitarian that you and your partner have chosen. You are to find research/ answer the following questions and use them as “headings”. Each heading should be about half page long to a page depending on how much information you find..Biography of the Humanitarian (life story) - What he/she did for their country? - When did some important events happen? List events and achievements or if they are/were involved in any organizations. - How did he/she stand up for their rights? - Why did he/she stand up for their rights and decide to change their quality of life in their country? - Facts- After you have done your research, you and your partner are to make a poster with some of the research you have found (important information). Your poster should include a timeline.Prepare to present your poster.- **ALL YOUR RESEARCH YOU FIND FOR YOUR PROEJCT MUST BE IN YOUR OWN WORDS, AND MUST CITE YOUR SOURCES.**
