Treasurer’s Report • In Flow = $ 11,150.15 • Bal. forward from 2011 $ 2,927.87 • Resident Dues $11,000.00 • Website Income $ 150.00 • Interest $ .15 • General Expense Outflows = $1,824.89 • Annual Meeting $ 15.00 • FOCA dues & insurance $ 1,152.10 • Tree Removal $ 75.00 • Community Corn Roast $ 266.80 • Misc. & Supplies $ 243.64 • Website Hosting Fee $ 72.35 • Road Maintenance Outflows = $10,431.32 • Snow Removal $ 1,130.00 • Road Resurfacing $ 8,845.08 • Road Grading $ 456.24 Total Revenue = $11,150.15 Total Expenses = $12,256.21 Outcome = Operating Deficit of $ 1,106.06 Account Balance May 20, 2012 = $1,821.81

  6. Treasurer’s Report • Last year you recognized that we must increase our yearly dues in order to ensure we continue to provide a safe and insurable road. (Road Association fees were formerly $100.00 and had not been increased in over 10 years, resulting in a serious shortfall in our ability to manage road costs). • Our residents voted to increase yearly fees to $200.00 in to provide yearly inflow of $11,400.00 per year in order to cover urgent road surfacing costs. • As discussed last year, 2012 fees are payable in two installments of $100.00 (May and August) for a total of $200.00/yr. This will return us to a healthy buffer position to provide for any emergency costs that may occur. We will reassess the yearly fee amount for 2013 dependent on budgetary requirements at that time • A big thanks in advance for the hard work our Directors provide collecting fees each year – It is much appreciated!

Good Neighbour Reminders… • Bears & other animals are now out and about • please don’t put your garbage out until Monday a.m. if possible … • Road safety • Go Slowly – includes all types of vehicles • Watch for children & pedestrians • Wear a helmet when using ATVs/Motorbikes • Help reduce road wear • Dogs & other Pets – be a good neighbour • Keep Cedarplank Road beautiful!
