Administrative • Reviewed July COPS meeting and the directive from COPS to bring the DEWG back • Selected Heddie Lookadoo as Vice-Chair
Recent Extract Issues • ERCOT presented a detailed list of the pre-COPS and post-COPS meeting Data Extract Issues • Issues center around performance (time to create and post Extracts) and missing data elements • Root causes vary: • Coding Issues • Stabilization of Environment • Manual error • Please refer to the DEWG meeting minutes for more details
Recent Extract Issues • ERCOT staff continue to stabilize the EIS environments • ERCOT close to filling EIS Manager vacancy • ERCOT has gone back to “single treading” vs. “multi-treading” processing to help stabilize processing • ERCOT has identified some checks to verify the integrity of Extracts • Due to the many market notices regarding the extract issues, a request was made to evaluate summarizing the issues in a more suitable and traceable format
Extract Service Level Agreement • SLA will cover “all extracts” • Next meeting will be mostly dedicated to beginning this SLA effort • DEWG members are asked to review the Extract and Report Matrix that will provide the direction to identifying the key reports and extracts, link to that document is below • http://www.ercot.com/committees/board/tac/cops/dewg/keydocs/2007/DEWG_Extract_and_Report_Matrix.xls
Goals for 2007 • Extract SLA will be the primary goal for 2007, anticipated delivery of initial draft by October • Monthly updates and dialogue on ERCOT Extract issues • DEWG will focus on current extracts and current issues, with the understanding that other working groups will have overlapping responsibilities • Overall, DEWG will work closely with ERCOT in communicating and discussing extract issues with the intent to keep stakeholders informed and to identify potential resolution
