  2. (not)as + adjective + as نستعمل as + adj + as لنصف شيئين متشابهين ومتساويين بالصفة . The blue car is asfastas the red car . سرعة السيّارة الزرقاء مثل سرعة السيّارة الحمراء . Fadi is astallas Fares. طول فادي مثلطول فراس . نستعمل not as + adj + as لنصف شيئين ليسا متشابهين أومتساويين بالصفة . Today it's not as windyas yesterday. اليوم ليسعاصفاً كما بالأمس . Silver is not as heavyas gold. الفضّة ليست ثقيلة مثل الذهب .

Comparative adjectives نستعمل Comparative adjectives للمقارنة بين شيئين إثنثين من ناحية صفة معينة ما . إستعمال صيغة المقارنة تعني ” شيئ ما أكثر بصفة ما من شيئ آخر ” . كيف نكوّن ال comparative adjectives ؟ للصفة ذات المقطع الواحد نُضيف er وبعدها نكتب than . This tomato is smallerthan this one . small Non-smokers usually live longerthan smokers. long
