ANSWER: OWCP should issue a formal suitability ruling. • If suitable, OWCP advises employee(in writing). The employee has 30 days to accept job offer or present evidence to counter OWCP’s decision. • No response from employee after 30 days—8106 Decision issued • Evidence submitted by employee within 30 days • OWCP determines if reasons for refusal are valid or not • If reason are not valid the Employee is advised and has 15 days to accept JO without penalty • JO not accepted –OWCP issues decision • More detail see the link below.
