  1. Warm up • What is the status of your Historical Narrative? What do you need to do between now and tomorrow morning to make sure you have it completed and printed and stapled?

  2. Agenda • Warm-up (10 mins) • Announcement: Benchmark FRIDAY! Current Events moved to NEXT WEEK. (apologies) • Turn in Requirements (5 mins) • 60 minutes clip (15 mins) • Gallery Walk (20 mins) • Debrief (5 mins)

  3. Turn in Requirements • First: MLA formatted, typed narrative and works cited page – PRINTED, STAPLED • Stapled to the back: History rubric • Have your narrative ready at the start of class. If you do not have your narrative, you will be assigned to mandatory office hours and will lose 10% from your final grade.

  5. Gallery Walk • You are in a Museum for the history of the Armenian Genocide • 12 inch voices • only academic conversations • Only 3 people max per image • You may also answer the questions on the “Generations” reading • Complete graphic organizer (visit 5 images)

  6. Reflection • “Deniers thrust the genocide back onto its victims, so they must recall the violence done to and witnessed by them.” • Scholars note that trauma, when not responded to, can be passed down through families. What do you imagine would help break the cycle?

  7. Study guide • Tonight, your historical narrative is your first priority. • If you would like to get started on your study guide, you may take one tonight – we will be working through them tomorrow during class and it is due THURSDAY
