What is CITIZEN ACT? • CITIZEN ACT is THE socially responsible business game. • It allows your students to discover the 150 professions that make up a bank, by choosing one of them and imagining its future evolution. • Students of schools and universities will compete within teams of 3, answering the following question: « Invent the bank of tomorrow»
What differentiates CITIZEN ACT • Its pedagogy: • accredited «Technology Enhanced Learning» by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) in July 2009. The game validates 100 hours of academic work. • each team of students is coached individually by a SG manager. • the 180 best students are invited to SG headquarters in February then in April and benefit from «face-to-face» coaching.

CITIZEN ACT 2009-2010: why? • CITIZEN ACT responds to 3 objectives: • Conceive concrete proposals linked to our business & our identity on the fundamental theme of CSR • Develop our relations with students to enable them to discover our jobs and expertise • Promote our brand & our specificity, expressed globally across all our business lines
CITIZEN ACT 2009-2010 • The game takes place in 3 phases: • The registration period runs from Friday, October 9th to Sunday, December 6th, 2009 • The 60 best teams are pre-selected and invited to the SG headquarters in Paris to present their project and start the animation of their wikiblog on Thursday, February 18th, 2010 • At the end of the second phase, 6 teams are selected for the final, which takes place in Paris on April 15th & 16th, 2010. The 3 best projects win an eco-friendly trip!
To know more • The teams are free to choose the subject of their project. It must combine the banking world and Corporate and Social Responsibility • For example, responsible finance, sustainable development, but also the promotion of diversity, Socially Responsible Investment, the integration of disabled people in the company, etc. • This international competition is open to students from 35 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas.
To know more • Throughout the game, students are accompanied by SG coaches and CSR experts to define the most concrete and innovative project. • These coaches are often alumni of your school, already working with us. • With CITIZEN ACT, students “choose their weapons to change the world!"
