  6. Charlie Chaplin • One of the brightest stars of the 1920’s • Character portrayed a tramp with ragged clothes and a derby hat

  7. Charles Lindbergh “Lucky Lindy” • First person to complete a transatlantic flight

  8. Amelia Earhart • 1st woman to fly across the Atlantic

  9. Red Grange • AKA “Galloping Ghost” – excellent football player in college and turned pro after college

  10. Helen Willis • Won 31 major tennis tournaments and 2 Gold Medals

  11. Bobby Jones • Won golf’s 1st Grand Slam – 4 majors

  12. Babe Ruth • “The Sultan of Swat”

  13. F. Scott Fitzgerald • Wrote several books – The Great Gatsby

  14. George Gershwin • Musical composer – wrote Rhapsody in Blue
