Citizenship in schoolschapter 14 Section 1 • Education is important for two main reasons • Education helps individual citizens grow • Builds a strong country • There are many levels of schools starting from preschool all the way up to High school. The higher education is more like Community College, Colleges and Universities • Public schools are facing many challenges which are not having enough money, not enough staff, and too much violence. • Education is a huge part of this world because without education people wouldn’t know how be take care of their communities and neighborhoods.

Being prepared and keeping a schedule can help you by reducing stress and anxiety from not keeping up with things. Extracurricular activities help you learn new things or improve what you already know. • Educations goals Their goals are to teach you how to become an active citizen.

If you learn how to think you will be able to solve many problems faced everyday.
