Participant Expectations • Attendance at all in-person seminars and webinars • Participation in in-person and online discussions • Completion of all evaluation materials including pre- and post-test and satisfaction surveys • Completion of a lesson plan that utilizes the American Transitions content and Picturing America collection

  4. Materials • Notebook • Reading Assignments, Agendas, Readings, CD • Books • CD • Additional links and tutorials • Digital scans of primary sources from OHS collections These will be helpful in designing your lesson plan!

  5. Webinars • You need a computer and an internet connection • You will receive an email with a link • Please test this link when you receive it to be sure your Adobe is set up properly (it will do the work for you)

  6. PowerPoints, webinar recordings, and handouts will be added to the American Transitions website after the webinar. As the speaker is presents comment and ask questions in the chat box. We will keep track and answer as we go.

  7. Lesson Plan Assignment • Your final lesson plan should: • Use the Picturing America collection • Use primary source materials related to the collection • Be something you will actually use! • Lesson Plans will be due September 16th 2011 as a PDF or Word.doc

Assorted • Stipend and CEUs • Stipend = $300; CEUs = 22 hours • You will receive both of these at the end of the program after the final lesson plan is submitted. • What if I have to miss a session? • Contact Molly before the session and we will work out a way to make up the missed work.
