  2. Equipment If you want to practiceparachuting you must have a parachute. You have to know where and from where you want to jump. So you need a helicopter , plane or maybe some high building. It would be good if you have a helmet and special clothes.

  3. Rules • If you are already in the helicopter you must check your parachute helmet and the rest of equipment . If you don’t do it you could die  • Then when you jump you can’t panic. If you panic to much you could die  • When you will be close to the ground you must open your parachute. If you don’t you will die  • During the landing be careful and don't fly to the trees or something dangerous. If you don’t you could die. 

  4. Record • 14.10.2012 Austrian jumper Felix Baumgartner rose to 39044 m high and made new record of highest balloon flight. • At the same day he made new record of parachute jump from the highest altitude. • At the last he flew to earth from the space and he landed on the east of New Mexico.

  5. Famous persons • First parachutes were constructed in Renaissance period among others by Leonardo Da Vinci. • The modern parachute was invented in the late 18th century by Louis-SebastienLenormand in France. He made the first public jump in 1783. • In 1911, Grant Morton made the first parachute jump from an airplane. • Previous world record for the highest parachute jump was made by in 1960 by Joseph Kittinger.
