4. The level of accuracy achieved using latitude and longitude is a square of 30 m x 30 m (using degrees, minutes, and seconds). • The military grid can identify squares of 100 m x 100 m (6 digits), 10 m x 10 m (8 digits) and even, 1 m x 1 m (10 digits).

5. The military grid works by drawing a blue grid over top of a topographic map.
