  4. Energy = Metabolism • We require energy to maintain our bodies & to grow & reproduce • Metabolism is all the chemical processes that occur over our lifetime

  5. Reproduction • Asexual Reproduction or binary fission • Offspring (kids) from one parent • Sexual Reproduction • Offspring from 2 parents

  6. Growing • Animals grow because cells divide • Process called mitosis

  7. Organized • Cells are organized by their function • Cell parts are have a specific job and are organized depending on what their job is
