  2. Dow vetting Dow vetting currently delivers vetting services to: • Dow • Meglobal • Styron • Amsty • MTT using CDI, SIRE, EBIS inspection schemes, port state control records, history of vessels and history of managers.

  3. Dow vetting Dow’s global policy for Bulk Marine shipments is to vet every vessel/barge that carries our products and/or calls at a Dow jetty, including 3PL jetties that handle our products.

  4. Dow vetting database • Dow maintains a vetting database that contains a status for all vessels/barges that our clients use or have used in the past. • The vetting database is accessible for all Dow personnel to check the status of any vessel/barge that carries Dow-product or calls Dow-jetties. • Status of vessel used in database: • not evaluated • approved through… • rejected

Dow vetting • Dow’s vetting service is available 24/7 globally due to the vetting group being represented for all area’s. • Vetting group exists of 6 members. • Dow’s vetting service is also involved in: • Arrangement and approval of transshipments • New trade lanes • New products to be shipped

  6. Dow vetting • Vetting is a fully integrated part of the Work Process that Dow follows for bulk marine shipments. • Steps in this Work Process and related procedures are fully developed and available to all Dow-personnel.
