Division of Emergency Communication (DEC) • This report is for Mar 2018. • Training sessions (includes 3 radio nets, 1 meeting) 4 for 53 person hours • No emergency activations • Public service event: Covenant Health/Knoxville Marathon support 20 person hours • Total person hours for January was 73 • Using US Bureau of Labor Statistics figure for value of volunteer hours at $24.14, this represents value to the county of $1762.22. Total value volunteer work to county in 2018: $10381.40 • Working with OES Director to provide technical support and advice on future radio purchase planning, especially for those that may be required due to current TACN system upgrades. • Failure to plan is planning to fail. • Your continuing support is vital and appreciated!
