Taskone • Q: What do you know about the first settlers that lived in the area of the countries from the other participants? • The first settlers that came to Norway were the Sami people (also called the “saami”) As well as settling down in Norway, they also settled down in Sweden, Finland and Russia. The sami people are best known for their sheep and reindeer herding.

  3. Tasktwo • Q: Do they still live there nowadays or did they move in different directions and when? • When the sami people first settled down in Norway, they mostly settled down in the north part of Norway. This is where they developed their culture. Today, the sami people’s “capital” is located in northern Norway. The capital is called Karasjok.

  4. Taskthree • Q: Did you have several wars that became part of the globalism? • Norway was a part of the world war 2 (WW2) which led to globalism. The west part of Europe got an economic growth because of the Marshallhelp. Norway also got the chance to import goods from the United States which had a great impact on the economy.

  5. Taskfour • Q: Which famous authorities were involved in the process of globalism? • I wouldsaythatthe Norwegian Government have beeninvolved in theglobalism. Especiallythe «minister of foreign affairs» and the «minister responsible for EU affairs.»
