Time Line • 2003 - Chi River Basin Committee was established • 2006 - Houy Sam Mor Sub – River Basin was • established as the pilot area of DWR • - BDP1 support a part of budget on planning • process • 2008 - World Bank support as a part of RBC study • - GTZ support on Watershed Management • Project • 2009 - Continue planning process by M – IWRMP • 2010 - Share experience to sub-basin network in • Chi Basin
Houy Sam Mor Network • During 2006 – 2008, network in Houy Sam Mor • was established: • Woman Volunteer Network • Youth Volunteer Network Working Group • Local Curriculum Academic Network • Stakeholder network should be continually established • to accomplish Houy Sam Mor community plan as an • original plan.
Capacity Building • Implementation plan is proposed to improve capacity • of people that they can manage water resources • properly: • Accelerate to formulate proper law and reinforce it • Awareness raising and networking • River basin study and monitoring • Capacity building of river basin committee • Improvement of network • Database Development • Monitoring and evaluation • River Basin Development • River Basin Development Fund
