Key components: • Individual participation (involved in own care): • e.g. shared decision making, self management, Expert Patients, peer support, social prescribing • Patient and public involvement, e.g. • CCG public discussions • Governing Body meetings in public • Patient Participation Groups/Network • Engaging with diverse communities • Engaging via the voluntary sector
Key components: Listening and understanding- a range of methods including: • Social media • Patient stories • Peer research • Patient surveys • Focus groups, etc
