  11. Graphs • A diagram that shows the relationship between numbers or amounts.

  12. Maps • A detailed plan of an area. • Maps often show features such as towns, roads, rivers, mountains, etc.

  14. Photos • Pictures taken by a camera, used to illustrate text.

  15. Timelines • A chart showing a range of dates on which events happened.

  16. Cross- sections • Diagrams that shows the inside of something, as if it had been cut through.
