  1. Mandatory Direct Deposit As of April 1, 2012 direct deposit is the required method of payroll payment to UGA employees. All temporary (non-benefit) employees, including students, are exempt but are strongly encouraged to enroll. Employees may request an exemption using Direct Deposit Personal Exemption Form.

  2. Electronic pay stubs for employees with direct deposit As of April 1, 2012 Payroll will no longer print paper pay stubs for employees with direct deposit. Employees will obtain their deduction information from UGA self-service website.
