We had to dispose through the normal requisition system, but managed to get about 500 individual containers out of the lab areas! • Procedures, hazard placards and warning labels were posted in the B70 liquid nitrogen fill station area. • A new AHD 3911 draft was generated for high pressure hydrogen use in 62-220. • An EETD Safety Committee meeting was held on 12/5/13. We need to find a new committee chair. • Focus was placed on EHS0658 “Haz Com Update” training completion. We are down to only 1 incomplete assignment for all of EETD!

  21. Short Term Safety Outlook- 12/13 • Assist with safety planning for the FLEXLAB start-up. • Assist with safety planning for the battery testing facility location at the Richmond Field Station. • Complete follow-up on the Lock-out/Tag-out corrective actions resulting from the recent ORPS report. • Start the Personal Protective Equipment self-assessment project. • Assist with the relocation of chemicals into new lab areas 70-114 and 70-116. Update CMS as needed. • Participate in the Electrical Safety Committee review and update of PUB-3000 Chapter 8. • Implement a new electronic lab inspection form for easier monthly lab area inspection documentation.
