Employability and Enterprise • Module Overview • final semester module designed specifically to provide learners with an outward facing experience that prepares key employability skills for the the world of work. • students are expected to work in teams towards a ‘happening’, the only aim here being that they have to make something happen. • students think freely about the aims of the project and align aims to their individual needs of professional and personal development.
Employability and Enterprise Module Assessment The module assessment breaks into 2 key areas for students: 1. Industry related skills development – students are encouraged to challenge themselves and learn new skills related to industry to widen their skill base in preparation for entry into the portfolio based sectors of the Music Industry. This is assessed by full group report. 2. Employability Skills – the programme challenges students to develop and evaluate key employability skills including team working skills, working to deadlines and briefs amongst many more. This is assessed by individual Personal Development Portfolio (PDP).
