RE: NAIT Media Alignment Calendar(For your convenience this information also appears on the first tab of the Excel file attached.) Media Alignment Calendar Includes scheduled time for "Recognition". Suggestions on improving scores will follow from VOE Tiger Team. Thank you for your valuable feedback during our People Manager's and Site Leadership meetings. Based on your recommendations, the attached Media Alignment Calendar will help make NAIT-wide communications more effective by: 1. Reducing the number of meetings at all levels and avoiding content repetition 2. Further reducing the number of meetings by tagging Recognition time onto existing meetings and events if possible 3. Better aligning/spacing all meetings/events chronologically 4. Better aligning meeting/event messages with specific NAIT themes (as directed by NAIT Leadership) 5. Using Site Events to strategically promote and support key cultural themes (as directed by NAIT Leadership) OTHER BENEFITS (use optional): 6. At-a-glance schedule for supporting media (email reminders, save the date messages, intranet updates, etc.) 7. Track important deadlines (presentation due dates, LOB report due dates, etc.) Meeting Frequency (based on feedback from People Manager's meetings): 1. NAIT All Hands meetings - quarterly (include Recognition in a NAIT-wide roll up) 2. NAIT People Managers meetings - quarterly, on non-NAIT All Hands months (include Recognition) 3. LOB All Hands meetings - quarterly, on non-NAIT All Hands months (include Recognition) - Invite all Shared Services Support Staff - Meeting dates determined by each LOB 4. LOB CIO / Managers / Shared Services meetings - 2X per quarter - Meeting dates determined by each LOB 5. Site Events - 1X per quarter (include Recognition) - Meeting dates determined by each Site 6. Recognition Time - monthly (tagged onto other meetings and/or events if possible) - Scheduling of time determined by each Site 7. Site Leadership / LOB / Shared Services meetings - as needed

CIOs, please plot-out schedules for all Director's and People Manager's/Shared Services meetings. 2. Use the Media Alignment Calendar tab in this workbook. (Rows to be populated are flagged in RED) NEXT STEP SITE Leaders: With NAIT and CIO meetings plotted, the NAIT Comm Team will (a) aggregate all information, (b) add Mark Torkos' meeting dates and (c) send back to each LOB You will use the aggregated calendar to chronologically align the following: 1. Site Events 2. Recognition Assemblies 3. Other Communications such as Roundtables, Web Chats, Brown Bag Learning Lunches, etc. (Suggestion: keep on your LOB SharePoint site for team access.) 4. Email reminders and deadlines (optional)

Communications Alignment Calendar – Email Introduction: All Staff TO:All North America Information Technology Staff FROM: Mark Torkos and the NAIT Communications Team RE: Revised Meeting Scheduling for NAIT Corporate and NAIT Lines of Business (LOB) / Recognition for a Job Well Done Thank you for your valuable feedback about Meeting Scheduling and Recognition. Based on what you told us and on recommendations by your Managers, Site Leaders and CIOs, the NAIT Communications Team will help make our NAIT-wide communications more effective by: 1. Reducing the number of meetings at all levels and avoiding content repetition 2. Better aligning/spacing all meetings and events chronologically 3. Better aligning meeting and event messages with specific NAIT themes (Guiding Principals and Vision) 4. Using Site Events to promote and support a positive corporate culture Recognition for a Job Well Done 1. To ensure Recognition occurs often, Recognition time will be scheduled. 2. Recognition time will be built into NAIT, LOB and Site meetings and events 3. Recommendations from your VOE “Recognition” Tiger Team will be incorporated in the near future Reduce Number of Meetings and Avoid Content Repetition: 1. NAIT All Hands meetings will be held quarterly - Meeting will include Recognition time as a NAIT-wide roll up 2. LOB All Hands meetings will be held quarterly on non-NAIT All Hands months - All Shared Services Support Staff will be invited - Meeting will include Recognition time 3. Site Events will be held once per quarter (and will include Recognition) 4.
