Australia’s national tourism database and online distribution platform Created in 2001, as a joint initiative of all Australian State & Territory Tourism Organisations and Tourism Australia Developed to create efficiency for the industry in the collection, management & multi-channel distribution of quality content Slide 3

ATDW Distribution A distributor “integrates” with ATDW’s National Database. The Australian Tourism Web Service (ATWS) is the mechanism for delivering the content to distributors The content is delivered in raw XML format Distributors must update the content on a regular basis e.g. Once a day to keep up to date.
