  3. Martin Luther King Jr. Famous Because… • Martin Luther King Jr. ended racism. • He won the Nobel Peace Prize. • He accomplished black people making them go everywhere they couldn’t. • Martin made famous speeches. • King made the march on Washington and met famous people.

A poor peoples campaign that would unite all poor people. • In 1966,sncc leaders urged a more aggressive response to the violent • called “Black Power”
