  2. Childhood Martin was born Saturday 1/15/29 Martin was born in Atlanta Georgia. When he was young, he played with black and white people

  3. School • He entered public school by age 5. • He was a popular student with the ladies in high school in 1944. • He skipped ninth and eleventh grade then entered Morehouse collage when he was fifteen in 1944. • He loved books so much he finished high school at fifteen.

  4. Family Christine was his older sister and Alfred was his younger brother. His mother's name was Alberta Williams King and his father was Martin Luther King Sr. His father was a pastor and his mom stayed home. His father was poor and his mom was rich.

  5. Christian Life Martin became a Christian at age 5. He got baptized, but it didn’t do much in life. He became a major Christian after his grandma’s death.
