  1. NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LIFE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIECES OF UKRAINE Institute of animal science and aquatic bioresources FEATURES OF METABOLIC PROCESSES IN CARP(Cyprinus carpio L.) INFLUENCED BY WASTE WATER FROM LIVESTOCK ENTERPRISESReports – Inna N. KurbatovaSupervisor – Prof. Mykola O. Zakharenko

  2. Goal of scientific work Examine the factors of human influence on the aquatic environment (organic and inorganic origin, their sources and content in the water, physico-chemical properties of water; their effects on physiological and biochemical processes in fish).

  3. Scientific research job Explore the influence of waste water from livestock enterprises in development of eggs and larvae of carp(Cyprinys carpio L.), physiological and biochemical processes in the hepatopancreas

  4. Figure1 The general scheme of studies Waste water from livestock enterprises Eggs Larvae Organic and inorganic xenobiotics Organic and inorganic xenobiotics Laboratory fish (model experiments) oxidative phosphorylation in the hepatopancreas Total protein, urea, hemoglobin in blood plasma LDG, alkaline phosphatase, AlAT, AsAT in blood plasma

  5. Figure 2Model experiments inaquarium

  6. Figure3 – Mass-spectrometric analysis of waste water from liverstock enterprises (izovalerian acid, lubricant acid, propionic acid, hexanoic acid, heptanoic acid, benzoic acid, 9-octodecanoic acid , aminoec salt of benzoic acid, phenylacetic acid, phenylpropionic acid, p-cresol, phenol, 2-acetyl-aniline, 4-methylindole, 7-methylindole3-butyl-hydroxyanisole, 3,4-digidrokarbosteril)

  7. Table 1 Biochemical parameters in blood plasma of carp at different levels of waste waterin the aquarium, М±m, n=8 Note. * р<0,05, data probability compared with the control

  8. Table 2 Enzyme activity in blood plasma of carpat different levels of waste waterin the aquarium, М±m, n=8 Note. * р<0,05, data probability compared with the control

  9. CONCLUSIONS When different concentrations of waste water from pig farms are added to aquarium water, carp demonstrates hindered reaction of tissue respiration, the processes of anaerobic glycolysis in cells are activated, as evidenced by the increasing LDH activity and decreasing LF activity in the blood of fish compared with control; hypoxia occurs in organism, which is indicated by growth of hemoglobin in blood of experimental fish; the intensity of ammonium and ureohenez processes in tissues changes, as evidenced by the increasing concentration of urea and increased activity of intracellular ALT, AST enzymes in the blood of fish compared with control.
