HP Launch Box: MAIN UI • Goals of the main UI: • 1) Allow users 1-click access to run applications through the use of the Windows 7 preview window function • 2) Display application name and hi-res icon in each window • 3) Allow users access to specific Jump List content, including “Manager” and “Edit” screens • 4) Show users in preview window when application is already running 4 2 1 3
HP Launch Box: MAIN UI • Main UI Details: • Default “Boxes” shown and content will be determined by CNB Touchpoints document • Application must be flexible to allow for different default “Boxes” and content • Each Box will contain no more than 8 items • Mouse rollover of Taskbar icon will display “Box” flyout • Application launched by “Box” will display separate Taskbar icon • UI: • Remove “X”s in top right of each window in “Box” flyout • Use only hi-res icons for each application • If application in “Box” is already running, application should show as such in “Box” flyout (leverage Windows 7 “shimmer” glow)

HP Launch Box: Jump List • Jump List Details: • Every “Box” should get Jump List capability tailored to each “Box” • Custom for each “Box”: • 1) Top header & list of apps at top should be specific to “Box” • 2) “Edit HP Launch Box” item should take users to “Edit” screen for that particular “Box” • 3 sections of each Jump List: • 1) list of apps, 2) tasks, 3) Windows 7-specific tasks • Section #1: List of apps • Header should be name of “Box” (not “HP Launch Box”) • Items consist of each application in “Box” (in correct order) • Section #2: Tasks • Header should be “Tasks” • Items in section: 1) “HP Launch Box Manager” link & 2) “Edit Launch Box” link • Section #3: Windows 7-specific tasks • No header needed • Remove standard “Pin/Unpin this program to taskbar” item • “Close all windows” will close app and hide every “Box”

HP Launch Box: Edit screen • Edit HP Launch Box screen Details (cont’d): • “HP Launch Box Application” table • Table should have 8 rows (to match # of items allowed) • Each OCCUPIED row of table consists of (left to right): • Checkbox • Icon • Name of item • Up and Down buttons • Moves item up and down in row order in table • Each UNOCCUPIED row: • NO checkbox • NO icon • Name of item (in gray color & in italics) is “Add application”

HP Launch Box: Edit screen • Edit HP Launch Box screen Details (cont’d): • “Applications to Add” table • Table should also have 8 rows but be scrollable • Each row of table consists of (left to right): • Checkbox • Icon • Name of item • Bottom of table consists of 1 (right-justified) “Add” button • Add button moves all checked items to the “HP Launch Box Applications” table; grayed out until 1 box is checked • If # of items being added is greater than open slots in left table, then all available Launch Box slots will be filled in descending checked box order (top to bottom), and the following dialogue box will be displayed: • “Your Launch Box is full! Please delete items from your Launch Box first before adding new items.”
