  2. Why update our graphic standards? • To strengthen the U’s reputation and image • To encourage consistent use of the wordmark and logos • To provide additional resources to U communicators

  4. Strength is in consistency • The distinctiveness of our wordmark and logos is increased by consistent use • Using an altered mark diminishes the public’s recognition of the U’s image
